I did something I never thought I would be able to do just a few years ago. I know it's really not that cool or special and billions of women/men in the history of the world have done this same thing and much more; but for me it is an accomplishment. I spent three full days and nights alone with the boys. Not only that, but I did it without getting too stressed out or too angry. We had alot of fun for the most part. There were a few of those ugly moments where I couldn't take the whining, crying, fighting or screaming anymore but for the most part it was pretty awesome. Aden was excited because he got to sleep with me every night. He enjoyed being the "man of the house." :) He was a pretty good helper for the most part. Odie was wild as usual. All I can say is that I hope I never truly have to be a single mom for any reason. Although, it was pretty fun for the most part; it was a TON of work. I can barely handle surviving it all when Jared IS around much less 100% all on my own. I didn't even have to go visit one of the Grandparents houses to get a little break haha. Like I said... I never would have thought I could survive it alone. I am so thankful I have such a helpful husband and one that doesn't have to travel without me for any reason in general.
Not only did we all survive, but I even finished a book, cleaned my house and my moms, did laundry, watched a movie, and worked out! I'm pretty impressed with myself! haha Well that's about it. Hopefully, Jared will be home within the hour and I can take a well deserved break!!
