Freedom Friday Book Club: February's Book Review

I haven't posted much lately... it's definitely been a busy month! I've taken on some new projects... which I am really excited about and enjoying... but at the same time I feel a little crazy for adding ONE MORE THING into my life.

I am a member of the social network called AsAMom.org which is basically like a facebook and news source for conservative, patriotic, faithful women and moms. I really enjoy the site and get alot of out it. I have been wanting to do a book club of some sort since now that I have finished school I finally have time to read books I actually want to read. Reading is pretty much my favorite thing to do, so I posted on the Utah forum to see if anyone was interested in starting a book club with me. I had a few people interested so I submitted my group idea to the site (all groups have to be approved by the administrators). Before approving it, I received an email from the site's founder asking me if I would be willing and interested in doing a book club for the entire site rather than just this one for Utah. I was more than willing and pretty excited. So after a few emails back and forth we established how the group would work, the name, and I designed a logo for it. The club is called the Freedom Friday Book Club ("Freedom Fridays" are a part of the site's blog where the MinuteMom posts ideas and has themes to help us gain more freedoms by making ourselves more self-sufficient). February's theme was Finances so we decided to read The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. We had discussions in the forum and today we had a group chat online. It has been a fun experience so far and I am excited to continue with it.

Anyway, I'll bring you my book review asap!!
